Self-Care With Intention
A Sense of Scents began with a simple vision: to create luxury home fragrance made with thoughtfully selected ingredients. I wanted candles that could fill a space with beautiful fragrance and create an elevated experience while being intentional about the ingredients used to make them.
As the brand grew, so did the vision.
What began with home fragrance has evolved into a collection centered around intentional self-care for your home, body, and hair. Our body and hair care products are thoughtfully created with everyday concerns in mind—from dry, sensitive skin and moisture loss to dry, itchy scalps and maintaining healthy-looking hair.
We also understand that conditions such as eczema and psoriasis can make choosing body care more personal. That's why ingredient selection, nourishment, moisture, and gentleness remain an important part of how we approach our products.
Today, A Sense of Scents is about more than smelling good. It's about creating small moments of comfort, care, and intention in your everyday routine.

The Heart Behind A Sense of Scents
My name is Octavies Wiggins, founder of A Sense of Scents, based in Covington, Georgia.
My journey began with a love of fragrance and a desire to create luxury candles differently. I wanted beautiful fragrances and an elevated candle experience while being more intentional about the ingredients I brought into my home.
Over time, that same intention became the foundation for so much more.
As I expanded into body and hair care, I wanted the products I created to have a purpose beyond simply smelling good. I began focusing on everyday concerns that many of us experience—dry skin, moisture loss, dry or itchy scalps, and caring for hair that needs a little extra attention.
That evolution has shaped what A Sense of Scents means to me today: self-care with intention.
As a small-business owner, I'm involved in every part of the process—from developing products and choosing fragrances to preparing orders and meeting customers at local markets. What you receive isn't simply another product on a shelf. It's something I've thoughtfully created as part of a brand that continues to grow alongside the people it serves.
My hope is that whether you're lighting one of our candles, moisturizing your skin, or caring for your hair, A Sense of Scents helps turn an ordinary routine into a moment that's just for you.
